"Jess and Paul had to have been one of the most outgoing and vibrant couples I have ever worked with - our consultations were full of laughter and the two of them swapping silly stories about each other. The concept for their flowers was a combination of the telling of their love story and their general aesthetic. Initially we dreamed up a luxe Great Gatsby themed wedding but after some reconsideration and some major color changes we landed on a romantic Victorian meets English garden style. We choose white queen anne's lace to mimic the look of Victorian lace and selected beautiful garden roses to reflect the English garden feel. The most special aspect of this wedding was the Groom, Paul's, loving gesture to his bride-to-be. By hand, he built her a beautiful arbor and we placed a gorgeous crescent shaped floral piece that hung on one corner. Under the arbor they were married and in the many years to come they will gather under it for outdoor parties, dinners, and fires as it now resides in their backyard." - Maggie Milby IMF (Thistles Wedding Coordinator)
